Whew! It has been a busy September and Premier Artist Month was a lot of fun. Happily, it got extended, so I picked up a few more items today. Definitely many tempting goodies this year, so I went a bit over budget for the month, and grew my wishlist by a whole lot. 😀
My top 2017 Premier Artist Month favorite is LY Moxie Sparks HD for Teen Josie 8. I am usually not a big fan of Teen Josie, but this character by Lyoness has the exact type of features that I love. She can be vulnerable as well as bad-ass, and she is realistic looking but also fits wonderfully as a fantasy heroine. She is currently my most loved G8F morph.
Below is LY Moxie Sparks as a sexy dark angel with magic green, glowing, tattoos.
Next up, is The Legend for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s). This one was a bit pricey, but given the number of pieces and options, as well as the amazing design and detail of each piece, I simply could not pass it up.
In this classic rendition of good vs. evil, we showcase a fiery red-haired knight (wearing The Legend armor) battling a flying, horned, devil girl.
Finally, there is this tall, dark, and handsome hunk – FW Kieron HD for Genesis 8 Male and LI Kieron Whiskers. Definitely my current favorite morph of G8M. Kieron Hair by AprilYSH also looks superb and fits him very well.
Anyway, enough about me, what about you?! Tell us what your PA month favorites are in the comments section below. 😀

1st Place – Foundling
Artist – deathbycanon
Superb work with the composition, pose, and materials. Millennium Dragon 2 Hatchling looks totally adorable, and the hands are wonderfully posed.
You also did a fantastic job with the skin and hatchling shaders. Both look very realistic, with excellent details. I love it when an older product gets new life with a shader and renderer update. In fact, another judge favorite is Demon King, which also features sensational shader work. The Infernal Behemoth looks like something out of a War Craft movie!
2nd Place – The Edge Of Madness
Artist – dreamfarmer

~~[Excerpt from Every Breath You Take by The Police]
Marvelous story, and camera work! As soon as I saw this image, The Police song started playing in my head. 😀 This would make an awesome animated video for that song.
Fabulous feature of Morning Star Wings and terrific attention to detail, such as adding the shackles and bottle of bourbon. The leaves are a fine touch, giving the image movement and also a feeling of wistfulness.
Another judge favorite is City On The Far Side Of The Sky. Is the angel casting a spell to return to his city in the sky? Or perhaps he has been banished or the city destroyed, and he is casting a remembrance spell to reveal the home that he can never return to. A picture that tells an intricate story, with that same feeling of longing.
3rd Place – Relief Effort 3
Artist – Joe Webb
Wow! Awesome lights, color palette, and effects.
After seeing this image, The Silent City quickly went into my wishlist. Brilliant use of lights to create accents and depth in the surrounding cityscape as well as to bring the Sci-fi Cargo Ship to life.
Bravo on the seamless integration of Ron’s brushes to add further realism and atmosphere to an already remarkable piece.
3rd Place – From the Dark …
Artist – Saidge
You masterfully captured great tension and high creepiness factors here, accentuated by the youth, expression, and tears, of the girl.
Excellent use of shaders and lights to give her eyes and tears just the right highlights, so that they look real and stand-out from the rest of her face. The tears, especially, captured my attention and adds significant power to the piece.
3rd Place – DeadBlade
Artist – knaakie
Amazing composition and intensity!
Incredible realism and balance!
Excellent use of dForce Fiona Dress, which fits beautifully with her pose and Stonemason’s Private Garden. I also love the lighting, with the interesting play of light and shadows on her skin and dress.
Finally, the pastel color palette is perfect for the scene.
Marvelous depiction of Death and feature of Dark Fantasy Weapons. That scythe is front and center, and it looks totally wicked!
Great use of that doorway or arc, with Death (and his minions) stepping from light into shadow. I also like the toning, environment, and dove in the background. It gives the image a surreal quality, which is especially apropos here.
Beautiful composition and awesome use of Monster Skulls HD.
Love the peaceful environment, pose, and very creative integration of the monster skull into the enchanting backdrop. There is also a sadness and melancholy feeling, from the flowing black dress and skull, to the weeping willow like trees. Outstanding work!
Hahaha! I don’t even know where to start – super creative, fantastically humorous, and absolutely marvelous!
Their expressions are crazy funny and totally brilliant. 😀 Wonderful job with the teeth and coat color choices, as well as putting on cloaks and jeweled necklaces to really make them look like Dracula cats.
And of course, terrific use of Silverkey’s Bat, which plays a featured role in this superb image. Always love your out of the box thinking.
This looks like a scene out of a Stephen King story!
The girl (Hollie for K4) is perfect. On the one hand, she is adorable and cute, but also dangerously scary. Her mischievously evil expression , goes perfectly with the knife and doll. Excellent dark and dismal backdrop.
I also like how she appears in different situations and environments (over multiple images), as her story unfolds. Great cinematic experience!
