I can’t believe it is already November! It is crazy. Seems like not too long ago we were just celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas, and now it is almost here again. 😀
Anyway, we had lots of entries in October, so we have added some extra prizes! Thank you all for participating and hope to see you in our November contest!
October is usually Platinum Club Month at Daz3D. To celebrate PC Month, we will only have one special vendor this month, but a very big one – Daz Originals!

October contest entries.
1st Place – Pierced Oni Geisha
Artist – Tetsuwan Atom
Just an all-round wonderful composition. Well balanced, beautifully posed, unique, and very eye-catching. Victoria 4 never looked so good! Below is another breathtaking piece by Tetsuwan Atom. Again, there is wonderful balance, pose, framing, and the deep sunset colors catches and holds the eye. Superb work!
2nd Place – Human Hunter
Artist – Budo-san
This piece is just too cool to touch. Everything combines together so well to support the central theme, including the moody atmosphere, unsaturated colors, the alien-looking predator, and of course the wonderfully wrought, pained human face, rising out of the rocks. Moody, powerful, and an excellent piece of artwork!
And here comes the extra goodies – three third place winners this month!
3rd Place – Lystra
Artist – Drakenborg
A super fantasy scene! Great looking textures on the dragon, great looking warrior princess, great looking armor, backdrop, and everything else. Just wow!
3rd Place – Monique – Sci-Fi Bedroom
Artist – knaakie
This image looks like a still from a movie that I would really like to watch. There is great tension from the pose and expression. Monique looks coiled, and ready to spring into action. She is also back-lit, which casts her face in shadow, and that further increases the tension and imminent danger conveyed by the piece. Excellent realism, excellent tension, and excellent work!
3rd Place – The Fashionable Witch
Artist – Kalypso
A very classy and stylish piece. The limited use of colors and superb use of materials on skin, clothing, hair, and objects, gives the image an extremely polished, professional, magazine look.
Honorable Mentions
Coffee Milk Or Juice by ThatGuy
Looks like a photograph! Masterful use of textures and light to create a piece so real that I want to reach out and grab one of those delicious looking pastries. 😀
Mermaid by Kenda
Beautiful mermaid pin-up! The mermaid is gorgeous, wonderfully posed, and the water splashing effects are exceptional. Just a stunning composition.
Poseidon by scorpio
Unique and brilliant rendition of Poseidon. Love it that his hands are webbed and that he is holding the destroyed ship as if it were a toy.
Swamp Witch by luannemarie
Now that’s a witch! 🙂 Great looking character, skin, hair, snakes, and swamp environment. Also superb use of materials.
Thoughts Of Spring by Shozai
Such a beautiful, bright, and positive piece. When I look at this image, I start to smile and my heart feels lighter. Love it!

The hannya tattoo looks exactly like the one Majima Goro uses in Yakuza/Ryu Ga Gotoku games. The art piece overall looks amazing but wish it had been credited where the tattoo came from.
