I just popped in to congratulate the winners and was shocked to discover one of my images one! Thank you so much for choosing my image for second place! The quality of artwork for this contest keeps improving and this last month had so many awesome pieces!

Thank you so very much for choosing “To Praise the Mutilated World”. Its an honor to be among so many wonderful works. The basic image had been in my head for a while, so it was sort of “aged in the wood.” It came together when I read the poem of the same name (nearly) by Adam Zagajewski, even if the setting and idea is rather different.
Congratulations to Areyna, Budo-san, knaakie, alx, Ferretmania, Rubina and cichy25. All powerful images. As Ferretmania points out, there are so many wonderful images judging must be a hard process. We all appreciate the work that goes into these contests.
