Super loving Platinum Club month so far. Definitely not good for my DAZ budget, but some great deals and bundles. Wonderful stuff from RDNA at a greatly reduced price, some exciting PC+ new releases, and some irresistible PC+ bundles.
My favorites are …
- All the Iray Add-On packs by Jack Tomalin. Previously, I was using the Iray Uber shader, which works pretty well for Jack’s sets. However, the special Iray packs at PC+ prices are an instant buy for me. Top of my list here is Rural Chateau Bundle Iray Addon.
- Lost Urchin Halloween Bundle. Love the character, hair, and outfit, everything! All are items that I would buy separately, so when included in a bundle, it is a splendid deal.
- Platinum Club Anniversary Bundle 4 2016. This is my pick for best bundle. All the environments look great, and the sci-fi ships are unique and cool looking. Many of the items were already in my wishlist, and some I had already purchased. Just a great selection of products.
- Gumdrops and Peaches. Finally, I also picked up some major Toon cuteness by Lady Littlefox. Love all the Gumdrops themes and Peaches is too adorable. At $2.70, they are an amazing deal.

1st Place – To Praise the Mutilated World
Artist – Joe Webb
WOW! Love the light, love the composition, story, poses, shaders, everything!
A wonderfully crafted piece that tells an engaging story and shows off Jack Tomalin’s Rural Chateau to great effect. Fantastic use of light and atmospheric effects to set a perfect mood for the narrative. I also like the unsaturated tones, which gives the scene a nostalgic and somber feel.
Excellent camera angle and framing to first draw the viewer’s eyes to the male figure and the gun on the floor. Then, our gaze naturally gets drawn to the woman standing behind him. There is a sadness and mystery to the piece. Superbly done!
2nd Place – The Wind One Day Blew Her Hat Away
Artist – Areyna
The thing that strikes me first about this marvelous image, is the water. The way the golden light reflects off it, combined with the dark blue is simply breathtaking.
Then, there is the incredible camera work that highlights the water and gives the image movement. This is further enhanced by goldtassel’s windblown Sorrow Hair, which looks amazing on our girl who has just lost her hat to the grasping wind.
A fun, dynamic, and charming scene that will surely bring a smile to any viewer’s face. 😀
3rd Place – Oscar Castle
Artist – Budo-san
An excellent dark knight with his dark familiars.
Fantastic details in this picture, including the knight’s fierce expression, his scar, the rising mist, foreboding castle, and creepy trees. Everything together creates an ominous and sinister mood that is palpable. Outstanding feature of Jack Tomalin’s Castillo del Diablo (aka Oscar Castle).
Darkness and beauty combined to perfection.
3rd Place – Parkside Head
Artist – knaakie
Wonderfully realistic and beautiful composition.
This piece has great balance and the lighting is fabulous. It brilliantly outlines Jack Tomalin’s Parkside Head, which looks so real that it could have stepped out of a photograph.
My eyes are immediately drawn to the person sitting on top of that building. What an incredible view he has of the landscape and sunset sky. The flying birds balance out the scene and provide a very peaceful flow to the image. I also like the cityscape far away that accentuates the solitude at the top of the tower.
Honorable Mentions
Heya no Tsuru by alx
Awesomely creative composition.
Brilliant camera angle, cute anime girl, and the paper cranes look fabulous. I also love the shadow-play here which gives the picture a dark mood. One cannot help but feel that something really bad is about to happen. Perhaps the girl is about to go into demon form and will devour someone nearby …
Goldtassel’s Choko Hair is superb here. I never realized how anime-ish it is. Will need to keep this in mind for the future. 😀

Such a marvelous pose, outfit, and expression for Lilith. My first thought when I saw the image was Blood Countess! The backdrop is amazing, with terrific depth, details, and lighting. The blood moon and spiked bodies are very dramatic and apropos. Definitely does not leave a doubt as to who she is or what she is capable of.
Incredible expression and scene. Totally love it!
Mommy? by Rubina
Awesome looking skin on her and the veins are super cool. I also like her expression, which suits the title of the image very well.
Superb feature of Jack Tomalin’s Rosemill Moor Iray. All the shaders look wonderful, and the lighting shows everything off marvelously. Congratulations Rubina!
Nessah the Pirate by cichy25
Gotta love this beautiful and fierce pirate girl!
Excellent dynamic pose, great atmosphere, and environment. The warm yellow lights stand out well against the blue dusk of twilight. Also, terrific mist and blurring to show scene depth.
Magnificent job!
