Starting out, it has been ok but a bit slow. Discounts are at 50% with an added 10% for purchases of certain products, which is an interesting new wrinkle. This works up to about 55% for new products and even more for Daz Originals, which is pretty good. So far, I especially like –
- Jolie Hair and Hair Salon for Jolie Hair. The hair looks great and has so many options!
- Shangrila, the new character by Mousso, which happily is also a Daz Original.
- SY Genesis 8 Clones for Genesis 3. Cross generation fits are always very useful.
However, the same rate also applies to featured products and older items from featured vendors. Since we regularly get about 60% discounts on older items, this was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a bit more on older products, or perhaps more discounts based on stacking or cart value.
To sweeten the pot, there are also freebie products and one deeply discounted item. To get a freebie, we need to have at least 2 MM products in our cart, but the cool thing is that this transaction can be repeated multiple times within the same day. This is a nice perk if we are missing many of the freebie items.
Of course we are still at early days, so hopefully things will start to pick up as the days roll on. Last year, things really picked up a couple of weeks in, so hopefully that will happen here too. Otherwise, my wallet will be happy for this short vacation. 😀
March 2018 Contest Vendors
As with previous years, we will not be picking vendors this month but will use the entire March Madness catalog! Qualifying images in March must contain at least one new item released during the Daz March Madness Sale. It can be any item, even free items.

The Ensk Outpost and additional ships you added outside, give the scene a wonderful depth and realism. Excellent planet background matching the colors and mood of the rest of the image. I especially love the addition of Iray Rain, which further enhances depth and atmosphere.
The girl is perfect, with awesome skin, intricate hair and tattoos. Could be a movie poster. Congratulations on this outstanding work of art!

Brilliant portrait and headdress.
A very creative way to embellish Melidae Crown, and great palette of more muted colors. Genius use of dForce Iray Cobweb Kit, draping it over the branches of the crown.
Jolie hair looks fabulous on this pale beauty, and her horns are a flawless fit with the dark bush limbs on her headdress.
Beautiful, mysterious, unique, and dark. Incredible work!
3rd Place – Salem and her Wolf

Fantastic capture of the bond between a girl and her furry friend.
The expression on the wolf’s face and how he is looking up at his life-companion, is adorable and totally heart warming. With just that look, their enduring connection is revealed.
Superb feature of Salem for Aiko 8, and excellent combination of outfits to form a totally bad-ass ensemble. The glasses are a wonderful touch and I like the shadows cast on her face.

This is an awesome Aiko 8 pin-up. Terrific lighting, color palette, and pose. FWSA Giada looks both cheeky and adorable, as she features the dForce Star Angel Outfit with both panache and style. The pink confetti is brilliant, giving the composition movement, depth, and fun!
This picture definitely reminds me of Kingdom Hearts. I think she would make a cool anime Queen of Hearts. 😀

The environment is fabulous, as is the sunset sky. She looks like she is deep in thought as the day draws to a close. The wind slightly ruffles her hair, as she watches the birds fly over her beloved home.
