Summer is here and May had some great sales and special discounts. I usually don’t spend much on May but this year I did.
My favorite May item is HD Flute and Poses for Genesis 8. I love musical instrument poses because they are different and always grab my attention. They are also difficult to get right, but Protozoon does an amazing job. His violin poses are also great.
There were also some fabulous and realistic looking plants by MartinJFrost. I got the Woodland Wild Flower Plants as well as Bramble, Blackberry and Briar Plants. Going to try them out in my next image. I also have Mangrove Trees, Roots and Bushes in my wishlist. Definitely going to load up the truck when there is a good sale in his store.
DForce Diva Iconic Halter Dress Outfit is another winner! I love dForce more and more each day, so this classy Marilyn Monroe dress went into my cart right away. Another very cool dForce item is SY dForce Confetti and Nature Effects. I especially like feathers and glowing little lights.
June 2018 Contest Vendors
Since it is summer, we thought it would be fun to do a swimsuit themed contest this month. For June, the qualifying item will be any Daz swimsuit (one-piece or bikini).

1st Place – Timeless Beauty on the Beach

Sea Side fun isn’t only for the young but also for the young at heart.
An amazingly beautiful image, with an amazingly beautiful message.
She may be older, but her girlish pose and joyful expression is absolutely captivating and delightful. Her pink bathing suit is perfect, again melding age with fun. I love the warm light on her skin, which gives her a healthy, youthful glow.
This golden light and the pinks of her outfit, also match wonderfully with the colors of the sunset. Furthermore, the composition has great movement, from the frothy waves, to the wind blown hair, and dynamic pose.
A truly enchanting picture, which made me smile, made me think, and made me feel.
2nd Place – Sunset Island

A marvelous composition and realistic sunset scene.
The sky is spectacular, with fabulous colors that reflect splendidly off the water. I love how the figure adds to the piece, by further drawing the viewer’s attention towards the distant horizon. At the same time, he is darker, so as not to detract from the environment. The back-lighting enhances his silhouette and naturally separates him from the background. Masterful use of light and placement.
I also like the distant village/island. It completes the story; adding richness and detail to this lovely moment of peace.
3rd Place – Catching A Wave

A perfect swimsuit pin-up!
Killer pose and camera angle. This is one that definitely grabs a user’s attention and holds it. Excellent attention to detail, for example with the surf board and tan lines on her skin. Hongyu’s Bikini looks sensational on her. It covers up all that needs to be covered, and lets the rest of her skin breathe.
The judges also love Wild West. Terrific feature of Classic Bikini, and outstanding use of cool/warm colors to emphasize the curves, as well as muscle definition on our sexy cow-girl.
3rd Place – Fantasy – A young woman as an apocalyptic fighter…

Gotta love an eye-catching image with a bad-ass girl.
Brilliant character design and combination of outfits. I love how you used LF Sorbet Swimwear and Post Apocalyptic Outfit to create a new ensemble that is both sexy and tough.
The saturated colors make the picture really pop. Meanwhile, clever use of DoF and back-lighting helps the figure to really stand out.
The judges also enjoyed Young Girl Ballet Rehearsal in the Sunshine. Fantastic movement, realism, and colors.

This is a marvelous way to feature Mika 8. I especially love the skin materials, which has great details and sub-surface scattering effects. Also fabulous pose for our fairy girl, with framing and camera angle that focuses all of our attention on her.

Awesome looking character with an amazingly realistic backdrop.
AlphaKini looks terrific, and it goes very well with the body chains, leg chains, as well as face jewelry.
Perfect use of background to match her outfit. It is also richly detailed, and provides wonderful reflections off the water.
The judges enjoyed Take A Swim2 as well. Excellent tattoos, wet skin, and wet hair look.
The Demoness Relaxes by thoreandan
Haha, I love the idea of a demoness (in floral print) relaxing by the ‘lava beach‘. She looks gorgeous in her Beaut Swimsuit, as she enjoys the wonderful warmth of the sun.
Her facial expression is superb. She definitely seems to be enjoying herself, leaning back, with a cool drink in hand. It is Corona time. 😀

Fantastic pastels and watercolor style.
Absolutely stunning sky colors, reflecting beautifully off the water’s surface. Great artistic textures, especially for the ripples on the ocean. Raiya’s Brooklyn looks sensational in her One Piece Bathing Suit.
Pretty, peaceful, and quiet. A charming vacation paradise.
