In May, Orestes Graphics released some awesome HDRIs and environments. I am always on the lookout for cool looking skydomes (Iray HDRIs) so I picked up Orestes Iray HDRI Skydomes Vol 1 – Eventide right away. Orestes Graphics + sunset skies = too tempting not to buy. The volcano environment also looks super interesting, but I am going to wait for a better sale on that one.
Another May highlight for me was the multiple stacking sale at Pixeluna’s store. I love her unique characters and awesome body-art, so I took this opportunity to buy up several of my wishlist items; including Pix Blaze and Pix – Synx. Looking forward to doing a cyborg image.
And talking about cool characters, there was also a nice sale at RawArt’s store. I love all of his beasties, which are superbly unique and always adds that extra oomph to any fantasy image. So many fantastic items, so little time. 🙂

1st Place – Rise

A totally captivating pose and scene.
Who is she? Is she the control system for the ship? Is she waking up for the first time or simply regenerating? We are drawn in right away, by her beauty and vulnerability.
Great use of Pixeluna’s Cosmic Synx Outfit to create an AI character, as well as emphasize her spine-line. The white walls with black accents, her fetal position, as well as hair and garment free body, gives a powerful image of rebirth. Her skin is terrific, as are the lighting and others materials, creating a wonderful realism.
Fabulously compelling image that leaves us wanting to know more.
2nd Place – Only a Human

Another amazing sci-fi piece with emotional complexity and excellent story-telling.
The cyborg heroine has a fantastic expressive face. She seems tired and sad of all the fighting and killing. The mech, unconscious man, and blood on the wall are all superb details. They add marvelous story details without detracting from our heroine in the foreground.
Awesome feature of three Pixeluna products – PS-Lavinia for V4, Cynagtala for V4, and PS-Lavinia-2813 Expansion Set. For those who use G3F, Pix – Synx is her modern-day equivalent.
I also love the saturated colors and light accents. Incredible character, style, and composition.
3rd Place – Bang Bang Girl 17

PS-Lavinia makes another appearance here, looking absolutely fantabulous!
Totally love the hair and outfit. I especially like the emissive tube around her hand and arm, as well as the dots on her neck.
Another outstanding feature of the image is the high detail terrain, with wonderful depth of field. The buildings in the distance and the spaceships flying in formation are brilliant touches to an already terrific composition.

Incredible character, outfit combination, and effects!
Fabulous use of Pixeluna’s Cosmic Synx Outfit. It works superbly with Tau Ceti Overseer and I love how you moved the spokes on the helmet onto her back. That makes it look more like wings and it frames the character very well, melding into the great sparkle effects.
Pix – Synx looks marvelously muscular here, with an amazing pose and excellent skin. Awesome feature of the versatility of Pixeluna’s outfits and characters.

The Bride by Shozai
Breath-taking scene and centaur girl.
Love the red flowers wreathed all around her body, which also appear on the ground in the forest. The vegetation is lush and striking, creating a beautiful environment around our Centaur princess.
What a wonderful celebration of Nature, something that is much needed and appreciated in these times.
At the Window by G-abi-K
Fabulous framing and light from the window. She looks surprised and mildly startled, as if caught in a moment of unguarded contemplation. There is a doe-like vulnerability about her, that makes you want to learn more about her plight and condition.
Outstanding feature of Pixeluna’s Sweet ‘N Sassy Poses and Expressions, showing the depth of emotion and poignancy that it can carry.

Such a striking camera angle!
It instantly captured my attention, along with that terrific smile and hair. Excellent choice in using a more limited color palette, with red for accents. This, together with the camera work really makes her smile stand-out. Skin is also very beautiful.
An awesomely creative and feel-good pin-up. Would make a brilliant promo for Pix-MitsukoG3F. Bravo!
Beauty Tames The Savage Heart by napalmarsenal
Fantastic pose that shows off Pix-Mitsuko’s stunning tattoos to great effect. I love how the flowers in her headdress matches those on her body, creating a unique and coordinated girl. 🙂
Her kitty friends are lovely and especially apropos, since they have just been made available at the Daz marketplace. I hope one of the Daz vendors will create LAMH fur for them soon!

Awesome dynamic image! Fabulous hair and skirt movement, combined with a darker Ophelia.
She would make a superb vampire character or perhaps a vampire hunter. I did not get Ophelia, but if this image were in the promos, I probably would have!
