We finally have a new Daz dog! He looks good and I like that he also has clothing. In addition, My Homework Pose Set by Design Anvil has a large range of fun poses. I hope there will be LAMH fur for him soon, as well as more breed types.
The Victoria Birthday Sale is another great June event. I picked up a lot of items on my wishlist including Elf Armor Outfit, which I have wanted for a long time. Many of Fred’s wonderful characters also went into my cart.
A couple of other items stood out for me, in particular, Chain of Darkness Outfit by Pretty3D and The Cave Island by PW Productions.

1st Place – The Black Unicorn
Artist – deathbycanon
Majestic and amazingly beautiful!
DA’s Unicorn never looked better. Absolutely love how soft his fur looks and the large moon in the background sets him off brilliantly.
Fabulous idea to do a full reflection on water. This, combined with the starry sky and large moon creates a magical environment that is perfect for our black unicorn. I like the dappled skin texture you used here, as well as the saturated colors.
Fantasy art at its best!
2nd Place – Custom Eyes
Artist – Stalest
Outstanding concept, realism, and detail!
Wow! This could be a still from a Bladerunner-esque movie. I absolutely love the complex scene you built here, and how you combined many different products to create such a cohesive setting. I must admit that I clicked on all of the product links, and am especially impressed with how you upgraded the older SG MechanEyes, to look so authentic in Iray.
The image is also a fantastic feature for Sci-fi Lab and Sci-fi Lab Props, as they help create a perfect environment for our custom eye designer. Her expression and pose are superbly done!
The judges also enjoyed I’m Here Now; another one with great expressions and poses. You masterfully captured the bond between girl and her adorable pup. 😀
Marvelous work!
3rd Place – The Second Call
Artist – Quantic Dementia
Brilliant concept and beautifully rendered.
I especially love how Kool’s red hair stands out against a mostly unsaturated image. The atmospheric light is sensational, streaming in from the window and drawing the eye to the figure as well as tentacles.
Fine job in making the scene mostly dark, so that the light and shadows stand out, creating the perfect mood for the piece. Stonemason’s detailed West Park environment wonderfully frames the picture.
The judges also gave a big thumbs up for Wolves And Chains. Awesome poses, and incredible fur on the black wolves. Definitely a big favorite of mine.
3rd Place – Float
Artist – owakulukem
Amazing feature of Ayumi for Aiko 7 by Fred Winkler Art!
Excellent pose and use of water to draw attention to and frame her delicate face. In addition, fabulous work with her skin. Love the slight blush of pink on her cheeks, and the realistic looking shader settings. Her expression is very alluring, especially her lovely lips.
Great use of lights reflecting off the water. The purple and white highlights create a delightful pattern around her, very effectively catching the eye.
Very well done!
3rd Place – Best friends
Artist – Divone Lerade
Now that is a sexy smoldering look. 🙂
Really that expression, pose, and morph captured my attention right away. Super bad boy look with his penetrating stare, tattoos, and 5-o’clock shadow. I love it that he has the same blue-blue eyes as his very handsome best friend.
Marvelous use of DA Horse 2 Iray Material Presets. In fact, there is wonderful detail in the textures throughout. Clever touch having the tabby on the horse. Her red-hair nicely matches that of our cowboy.
A very charming and heart-warming image!
Honorable Mentions
The Fallen by dawnydawny
Very powerful composition and effects.
Brilliant expression of rage and anguish. This tragic story is superbly voiced by her pose and expression, as well as the sensational effects from Ron’s Rain and Ron’s Lightning FX.
She is a very compelling character, from her spiky hair and demon wings, to her detailed bad-ass warrior’s armor. Awesome detail on her fallen companion, with the arrows, blood, and dirt.
Terrific work all around.
Not Far Now by Kibosh
This scene is fabulous!
Red Riding Hood looks marvelous as she walks out of the woods and into the rain; going from one adversity into another. I love how you combined the hood and cape from the Fantasy Thief outfit with the X-Fashion Crochet Dress. The combination is eye-catching, cute, and perfect.
Wonderful colors and detail, with the reds on our heroine’s dress contrasting well with the rich greens of the lovely forest. All this opens up to the grays of the rain, rocks, and lake. Very well done.
The Sadness Of Gaia by ItsCeo
Outstanding image with an important message.
Great character design of Gaia. The colorful flowers adorning her head stand out well, against the backdrop of her dark hair. They also draw the viewer’s attention to her beautiful but sorrowful face, with sad, expressive, green eyes.
I like the use of only greens and purple for her coat and hand flowers, so they do not steal attention from her face. The background is appropriately muted, and very effectively conveys the reason for her heartbreak.
