The December sale at Daz was truly EVIL this year! 😈
I was doing really well in the beginning, but then trouble started when they decided to make punches permanent. Suddenly, the ho-hum sale became a lot more interesting. Then, they released Olympia 7, started with the 75% discounted products, and I knew I was in deep trouble. Then there was Leo7, more cool deals, … so yummy Ramen for the next two months!
This January, we feature three vendors that got us into December trouble at Daz. 😀

Absolutely love the series of images from LIK featuring RoboCat and the Space Kittens. They are creative, detailed, well-composed, have great lighting, effects, and everything else. Especially love the rain and wet effects in the image above.
Definitely check out LIK’s gallery, it is full of whimsy, wonder, colors, and awesome talent.

2nd Place – Mutual

Another wonderfully creative, sweet, and stylish piece. Great contrasts here with the Mini Bot interacting with a robo-girl, with something mechanical holding a beautiful organic object, and with robots expressing love.
Excellent balance and emotion, in an absolutely stunning piece of art!
3rd Place – A Strange Dance

Excellent movement, light, and contrast!
Beauty and the beast, old vs. young, gray vs. vibrant red, light and shadow, eerie but also happy. It not only captures the eye, but also evokes strong emotion and engages the mind. On top of all this, it beautifully features Olympia 7 and Jack Tomalin’s Aslan Court 3.

Superb concept and poses! I am captivated by the characters right away, and want to hear more of their stories. The cool and hot lighting is also excellent, as is the feature of detailed windows from the Baroque Grandeur Bundle.

Great concept, colors, and lighting. The girl is absolutely adorable and the lighting on her face is superb. A very heart-warming image that shows kindness and friendship crossing boundaries.

Wonderful feature of the Shadow Man Outfit by Shox-Design & Nikisatez. Great expression and pose on the Shadow Man, as well as excellent use of the Skull Phantoms (one of my favorite products of all time).

Thanks for including my “A Strange Dance” in 3rd place in the list of winning images. I’m so busy starting to write a new book that I was a bit hit and miss this month but I think that image turned out nicely. Congrats to everyone else. There were some lovely entries.
