November was certainly a very busy month. It saw the second-half of the PC+ sale, then moved on to the Black Friday sale, which quickly morphed into the fabulous Holiday Sale with loyalty rewards.
I bought a lot of older stuff during the PC+ sale, as lots of them were going for less than a dollar. There were even some Genesis 8 items like the Ragnarok Mask for Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 Female(s) going for around $3. My 3D-content library definitely grew significantly, and I had to move things around to make space.
There were also some great PC+ shaders by JGreenlees, for example the Creative Metal Iray Shaders that look super slick and cool. In addition, Dimension Theory released three iRadiance – Light Probe Iray sets under PC+, which is such an amazing deal! Another great PC+ product is dForce Studio Drapery, which is something that I can see using in many images.
Mousso’s girls were also selling at a great discount, so I picked up a bunch of them. My current favorite is Ekaterina for Genesis 8 Female, who bears a wonderful likeness to the beautiful Marina Aleksandrova.
Finally, my top two newly released items for November are Claudia Hair by OOT and Asian SkinWorks L.I.E. Tattoos by Pixeluna. Both look very marvelous!
December 2018 Contest Vendors
The Holiday Sale has just started and already that are some awesome products, deals, and discounts. Aeon Soul’s Y’vas Outfit looks amazing and I just picked up the French Maid Costume and Mousso’s Morganna.
Therefore, this December we will feature items from The Holiday Sale. Anything released from Mousso’s Morganna onwards will qualify. I.e. anything released after and including Morganna from the Daz Marketplace can act as a qualifying item for the contest.

Images with the newly released Claudia Hair by OOT, Mei Lin 8, and Lee 8 will also qualify.
December contest entries.
1st Place – Looking for her Prince
Artist – LIK
Amazing composition and render! It is a wonderful fantasy scene with very realistic shaders and lighting.
I absolutely love the water backdrop from iRadiance HDR Resources – Parks and Rec Vol 1. If I didn’t already have it, your image would definitely convince me to go get it, super quick! 😀
Excellent new take on the Princess and the Frog. This modern day princess looks like she is ready for action, and infinitely able to take care of matters with her own two hands. Aeon Soul’s Y’vas Outfit for Genesis 8 Female is brilliantly featured with the additional potion bottles, hanging symbol chains, and pouches. I also like her intricate Asian headdress with the pins, metal work, and hanging beads.
The water bubble and splash effects within it look fantastic in the Iray light. Clever touch adding the snail crawling up to our intrepid heroine.
Dazzling, enchanting, and unique!
2nd Place – The Snowman and the Puppy
Artist – scorpio
Totally delightful!
A marvelous winter landscape with awesome snow effects. The Winter Pine Forest Prop Set is superbly featured. It looks ultra realistic with the lighting you used.
I like the big smile on the snowman and the little bird perched on top of his head. This makes him look jolly and friendly, rather than big and scary. The little puppy is adorable as he stares high up, evaluating a new potential playmate. Btw. is that Joe Quick’s snowman but with a cute little nub nose instead of a carrot nose?
Outstanding idea and incredibly rendered.
3rd Place – 3 a.m.
Artist – Saidge
The after midnight munchies. We all certainly know about that! 😀
Love the photo-realism quality of all your images. Terrific attention to detail with the totally stocked up refrigerator. I also like the darker scene with most of the light coming from the open door. This emphasizes the folds of dForce Harper Set very well, and gives everything a very authentic look.
Fabulous work. Now I feel hungry. 😀
3rd Place – End of the Road
Artist – dawnydawny
Amazing feature of Infinite Sands by The Philosopher. You really show-off the vastness of the environment. Excellent use of scale with the high, endless long wall, in contrast to the small traveler walking up to it.
Great job in integrating Ron’s 2D-brushes seamlessly and effectively. The birds further expand the depth of the picture, and the lens flare as well as haze enhances the authenticity of the desert landscape.
Brilliant work!
3rd Place – Dark Elf 20181206
Artist – TraceSL
Very cool composition and pose, with fantastic spell effects. I like how you used the glowing Liquid Armor arms, together with the green smoke emanating from her hands.
Her pose fits perfectly with the surrounding patterns of smoke. The pentagrams behind her and on the floor balance the scene out nicely, as well as enhances the dark elf/dark magic vibe of the image. Finally, her white hair contrasts well with her skin and the dark background.
Marvelous Gothic art!
Honorable Mentions
Robot’s First Christmas by Divone Lerade
Terrific Christmas setting. Love the warm colors you used, and those little robots are adorable. I especially like the shy one that is hiding in the tree. I almost missed him.
Fabulous composition, glow effects, Christmas accessories, and materials. A heart-warming piece that is perfect for the Holidays.
Final Flower by RichardC
Clever use of the cherry blossom motif throughout the picture – on her back, dress, tree, and vines. I especially like the tattoo on her back, and how her dress drapes over just one shoulder to reveal it.
Excellent feature of Helena Hair on Mei Lin 8. The back view shows off those intricate hair twists beautifully.
I wonder what her relationship is to that mysterious dark warrior. A final meeting between lovers, friends, or enemies?
Hide Up by dtrscbrutal
Awesome camera work! The unique perspective gives it a strong sense of drama. This scene tension is further enhanced by the darker lighting and hard shadows.
I also like all the poses. The two guys are being extremely careful, and seem more than a little uncertain about their quarry. Even though she is being chased, the girl seems pretty confident of herself and is comfortable in her hiding spot. Claudia Hair suits her very well.
Very emotive composition.
