Cannot believe that another year has almost passed! It has been a pretty stressful year for me but I do love the end-of-year holiday season. There are lots of Christmas decorations, both Huskies are very happy because of the cool weather, and I know next year will be better! YAH! 😀
To get into the holiday spirit, I want to pick vendors with cool winter or Christmas themed products. So here goes …
Two of my favorite Christmas outfits are Snow Angel and Santa Baby by Lady Littlefox. She also has some awesome toon characters, including Gumdrops: Jingles and Gumdrops: Sakari who are too adorable. In addition, I just noticed yesterday that I can now autofit Star clothing onto G3F! I am not sure when that was added but thank you so very much Lady Littlefox!!
Next up, we have Mada with the wonderful Winter Fantasy G3F coat and Victorian Santa for G3M. Both of these are PC+ products so super bonus! Another big favorite of mine is her Suneko outfit for G3M. This is one super talented and creative artist.
Finally, there is the marvelously versatile Valandar who has some incredible Christmas props including sleds, Christmas Tree Ornaments, Toy Soldier, and Train Set. He has great diversity in his store, so hopefully there will be something in there for everyone. 😀

1st Place – Trust Me

Love this image! It has a wonderful message, textures, poses, lighting, and everything else.
The beautiful profile of the elf-girl caught my eye right away. She shows off Mada’s Capricornia outfit marvelously, the hair is exactly right to complement her face, and her skin looks great with the scene lighting. Excellent integration of the environment map with foreground 3d-elements.
In addition to looking gorgeous, our elf girl is also leading a baby bear to a better place. Overall, an amazing piece that really speaks to me. The judges are also very impressed with Someone and Another Tale. All have terrific story elements, creativity, lighting, and characters.
2nd Place – Circle of the Moon

Wow! Superb character and atmosphere.
She is unique, alluring, and wears Mada’s Morrigan Outfit with style. I especially love how her lipstick matches her outfit, and how her tattoos go so well with the designs on her dress. It looks like she and her dress are one.
Outstanding backdrop and atmosphere. Again, the blues fit very well with the character and the atmosphere as well as camera work provides brilliant depth to the scene. She is slightly offset to the right (rule of thirds), making the scene even more visually appealing.
A magnificent work of art.
3rd Place – Egyptian Queen

What an elegant character and portrait.
Terrific idea to combine the Calyphlox Codex headdress with Lady Littlefox’s Bast Hair and Outfit. They work extremely well together to create something delightful and unique. Add in the pose and expression, and we have a truly fantastic image.
I also love Christmas Hug. Very clever, original, and adorable.
3rd Place – Legend of the Forget-Me-Nots

A very powerful visual that draws the viewer in for more. And once we start reading the story, we are absolutely mesmerized.
Excellent use of DA Let it Snow to create the harsh winter effects as well as Realistic Wounds and Blood. They both capture the terrible hardships faced by this young, brave duo very well.
Image and text weave a sad, potent, and compelling tale. Bravo!

A marvelous, whimsical composition!
Love the humor and fun in this. I like how it is sunny and everyone is enjoying their day in the usual way. Also great use of Mada’s Grantham Hall Suit and Valandar’s Old Fashioned Bicycles.
I wouldn’t mind having such a happy hallucination. 😀
Grace, Unexpected by dreamfarmer
A lovely composition contrasting youth and innocence with maturity and sin. This is not only embodied by the characters and expressions but also represented in the environment and light.
The soldier to reaching out, as if not quite believing what is right in front of him. Could it be his salvation? Happily, the girl is smiling and ready to receive him, showing us that there is always Hope. Cool appearance of Valandar’s The Harbinger in the background. I almost missed it! 😀

I love that she is all legs, and her expression is totally priceless. Fantastic winter scenery as well. The only thing missing are several Huskies running around her in play. 😀

Fabulous use of LLF’s Notorious Outfit. I thought I had most of her older outfits, but this is definitely one that I missed. Into the wish-list it goes! Would definitely love to see more of this tall drink of water (or wine!). 😀

Incredible characters, outfits, and effects.
He seems a bit timid or afraid, whereas she is bold and confident. They are holding hands so she is helping to give him strength and reassurance. This indicates a very interesting dynamic between them, and one wants to learn more about their past and current relationship.
Definitely a deep story here.
