One of the reasons I got Carrara was so that I could create my own character faces. However, I had a difficult time finding good tutorials on how to do this using Carrara. This is a simple beginners tutorial on how to model heads and faces using Carrara.

For rendering 3D-pictures and figures we can use Poser, Daz Studio, or Carrara. Poser is the oldest and most mature. However, Daz Studio has many features and new add-ons that are not available on Poser, including the new Genesis figure. Carrara is speed efficient, and allows for vertex editing. We consider which one to use for our computer generated pictures.
